Don't buy a Flow Hive until you've seen this!

Phil Chandler: Barefoot Beekeeper

We've had Flow hives in several locations for three seasons now, and this is the first time we have had a measurable amount of honey in them. The ivy season is about to start, and we don't want this rapidlycrystallizing honey in the Flow super, as it may prove extremely difficult to remove.

In this video, I explain how the Flow hive is constructed and how it should work, compared to our reallife experience here in Devon.

PLEASE NOTE: Flow hives apparently DO work well in some places: this is NOT and "antiFlow" video, nor am I a "Flow hive hater" as some seem to think, but I do have reservations about their use in my area for the reasons I explain in the video. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but comments that are merely insulting will be removed.
