The first effect makes use ideas from Steve Forte alongside a clever principle from Pedro Morillo's Reshuffled, but in a somewhat different way than originally intended. The central idea at work was probably invented by Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser. The effects with YuGiOh cards involve ideas from Frank Thompson, Johnny Benzais, Frederick Braue, and Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser.
