The Dogtra 1900S Handsfree Plus with Boost & Lock is my new favorite ecollar device from Dogtra. No longer will your dog be confused by a delayed correction, because you are trying to set a higher stimulation level. Nor will your dog be confused by getting the same stimulation when you, as the handler, are looking for a more immediate response.

In the video we showcase the 1900s Handsfree Plus B&L, but any of the (3) new "Boost & Lock" Dogtra models will provide you with the simplicity of setting a standard stimulation level (ex: stim=35) and then setting your boost amount (ex: boost=15). Once you configure both settings, you have two quickaction stimulation levels (ex: "standard"=35 / "boosted"=50) that can be used to elicit two different responses or reactions from your dog. The added “lock” function is also great, preventing the standard stimulation level from accidentally getting adjusted (higher or lower) which would most likely confuse the hell out of your dog!

Personally, I use the boost feature at 15, for a simple and effective quick response. However, my dog is accustomed to the standard stimulation setting that I use, which is 30 on a Dogtra collar, so the boosted 45, definitely gets his attention. It the handsfree function makes this solution a nobrainer for training.

What's really nice about all 3 new "boost & lock" models... They are essentially the same product as their predecessor, just with the few features added to the handheld transmitter. You can even use the your older ecollar receivers with the new transmitters.

(As a bonus in this video, you see me admit to reading an instruction manual for the first time! And wouldn't you know it ... I actually learned something! The manual goes into detail about how and where to position your remote and antenna for maximum power, and other things like that. So definitely read the manual to get the most out of your device.)
