Mabel the senior pug has a lot of pills to take throughout the day, but, since she isn't food motivated, it's been incredibly difficult to find anything to get her to actually take them. We've tried pill pockets, peanut butter, hot dogs, marshmallows, watermelon, chicken, wet food...she would do it for a day, we'd get excited, and by the next day, she refused. We finally tried baby food (carrot, sweet potato, and butternut squash varieties) and she absolutely LOVES it. We are celebrating this breakthrough by buying cute toddlersized baby bibs. As you can see, she is quite the chomper so we've invested in some softer baby spoons.
