In trying to squeeze as much performance out of my 2HP Harbor Freight dust collector as possible, I'm replacing the stock impeller with a larger one from Rikon (part no. P6020022) This involves not only replacing the impeller, but also enlarging the inlet hole in the dust cowling to provide for more airflow.

As part of this modification, I also take measurements of the airflow, static suction, volume, and current draw of both impellers as a basis of comparison to see what kind of improvements result.
