As Hurricane Dorian threatens the US east coast we were able to head out and get a little more practice with our new to us Class A Motorhome. In an abundance of caution folks were cancelling reservations at Ft. DeSoto Campground in Tierra Verde FL (St. Petersburg area) as Dorian's track was uncertain. Because of this we were able to grab up one of the beautiful waterfront sites for a night... as the forecast changed and left the Tampa Bay area out of the dreaded Cone of Uncertainty.
