A few months ago I reacted to the funniest medical sketches from Saturday Night Live, and you all asked me to react to some more clips that aren’t from SNL. I scoured YouTube for the most hilarious medical skits I could find and eventually pulled together a really strong group from Portlandia, Monty Python, Robot Chicken, College Humor, and Studio C. Outside of laughing, I managed to find opportunities to discuss appendectomies, separating conjoined twins, depression, Web MD, cancer, and Leroy Jenkins, among other things. Anything else I missed? Responsibilities: Edit 12 videos a week, including original videos on YouTube/other platforms, or syndicated cut downs on Facebook, Snapchat, IGTV, TikTok, etc.

Qualifications: Significant experience editing videos specifically for YouTube, ideally those that are talentfocused and straighttocamera. Elite grasp of Adobe Creative Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve. Adobe After Effects a huge plus. “One person band” preferred, meaning an editor who can edit, color, mix, and finish a project all on their own. Extremely fast internet connection required. Must have a strong familiarity with emerging digital video culture and an avid consumer of YouTube content. Sense of humor/personality/style showing through in your cuts would be highly valuable.
