Something BIG happens to Dobermans when they hit adolescence, it's the "teenager phase". Also referred to as the juvenile delinquent phase among Doberman owners, this is when some very negative behaviors of the Doberman breed comes out. It usually occurs between 69 months of age and it's arguably the most difficult time in owning a Doberman. In this video, we delve into the behavior challenges that arise in Dobermans after they reach puberty and what to do about them. Many issues can arise during this time, including regression in potty training, ignoring previously learned commands, nighttime crate crying, disruptive demands for attention, excessive barking, and increased reactivity. We'll explore these behavioral concerns specific to this breed and provide effective strategies for addressing them.
