DIY Winter Driving Vehicle Emergency Kit: Things You Need To Stay Safe When Winter Weather Turns Bad

I am not a fan of Winter, having spent too much time on the receiving end of snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. Because of that, I do everything I can to not get stranded out in any kind of cold, bad weather. To help myself (and whoever else is with me in my vehicle) to stay safe, I keep several items inside my car and in the trunk that can be a great help to get me out of a bad situation. Most of these are inexpensive, the only exception being a portable jump starter that is optional anyway, and regular jumper cables can be substituted. The items that I show in this video are what I recommend for the average person, and take these as a suggestion. Depending on where you live, what type of vehicle you drive, and even your own outlook on how risky you feel winter driving is, you may want to add to or subtract from the things I've shown here. But I believe everyone that lives in an area that normally gets some "real" winter weather should have some type of winter emergency kit in their vehicle.
