Our room is nearing completion and I knew we needed a focal point in the room. As beautiful as our accent wall is, we needed a true statement piece and I feel like this DIY fireplace build most definitely delivered that. #trustthevision

12 8ft 2 x 4's
22 pine shiplap from Home Depot
3 1 x 6 common boards (60" mantel)
Top and Bottom trim is personal choice
