In this video, I detail a DIY installation of permanent Christmas lights (or accent lighting). I purchased all LED components. LED strings and channel were purchased from ETOP with other components purchased from Amazon.

Installed approximately 205 feet consisting of 285 RGBW LED modules. Each LED module is rated at 0.9W maximum (spec from manufacturer). The LED strings are 12Vdc powered.

LED Controller: Zengge / Surplife
Power Supplies Included With Kit: Meanwell LRS35012
Power Supplies I used: XP Power MFA350PS12

The XP Power supplies were units I repurposed from another project from years ago :) They are high quality supplies and are most likely way overkill for this project. If I were to purchase new, I would look at XP Power LCW320PS12.

Installation labor time was about 20 hours and component cost was approximately $1200.
