DIY | How to build a kotatsu / Japanese heating table using an infrared heating panel!

Brina Goes Japan

First DIY video y’all!
Let me show you how I built my own kotatsu using an IKEA LACK table and an infrared heating panel.
It was so easy to do and it’s super comfortable underneath! Japanese heating tables are the best and if you’re missing Japan, I’m sure this one will bring a little bit of Japan into your own home :D

**Materials used**
1 IKEA table „LACK“ (90 x 55 x 5cm)
1 additional LACK shelf (89 x 44,5 x 1cm)
1 infrared heating panel (ordered from Amazon, 60x30cm)
8 screws
screwdriver
handsaw
screwclamp
wood drill
sandpaper
1 blanket + sheet (mine is 240x220cm, but you could probably use a regular sized one as well)
1 blanket to put underneath the table (optional)

**Disclaimer**
On my channel, I’m sharing my personal DIY projects to entertain and inspire you. I’m not a professional and the way I work and what I build might be unsafe or dangerous. So should you attempt to try these things by yourself, you do so at your own risk.
Please ask a professional for advice or help if you need it. Safety first!
I can not be held responsible and do not assume responsibility for any damages, mistakes, injuries suffered or losses incurred as a result of following the information on my Youtube and/or Instagram Channel.
Please read and follow all safety procedures provided by the manufacturer of any product, equipment or tool and always use common sense.

**Warning**
Don’t fall asleep underneath a kotatsu (even if it’s tempting), you could severely burn yourself! This is absolutely no joke. Please be careful and take care of yourself
Don’t leave your kotatsu on without being in the room.
Always follow the instructions of the products you buy.

**Also**
This is NOT a sponsored video, you can use any kind of suitable table or appropriate materials I just found these conveniently available and usable ;)
