As in the previous episodes, I do a 160 tkm service for my BMW F20 car
The car currently has many faults that require maintenance
Let's read the car's fault codes with the ISTAD program
Let's start with power management first
This current battery is a Exide 80Ah/800A AGM battery. Not BMW brand.
Let's diagnose this battery in a little more detail with the ISTAD program
Let's evaluate the battery for the previous 2000 kilometers
According to ISTAD, the battery would be old/defective?
ISTAD suggests replacing the battery with a new one
Let's look at a little more detailed information about the results
24 previous standby current measurements can be found in the data of the engine control unit (DME)
Let's reset these previous standby current measurements
There are a couple more battery charging tests here, but I'm not going to run them now
Let's go back to the battery menu
For the previous 2000 kilometers state of charge in value range

There was nothing wrong with the original BMW battery, which I replaced with a new one about a year ago
The actual fault a year ago was a faulty ground cable between the gearbox and the frame

And now this Exide AGM battery is not working properly in this car
Or I accidentally programmed that Exide AGM battery as an original BMW battery for the car
Who knows, but now it's all right as far as power management is concerned!
