I have been wanting a workbench\table in the garage for a while to extend my basement bike repair area and to use for home repair etc. (wished I had done it 6 months ago! Would have been a crap ton easier to do the shiplap and crown molding project)

The problem is I'm too cheap to spend big money on something storebought already build.

I looked at a good number of bench worktable designs and such on Google and Youtube. I found a few designs that had some neat features on some and better on others so I mashed together what I wanted and came up with this.

The dimension ars 6'x3' and 35" tall with locking caster wheels. The tabletop is finished with Boiled Linseed oil.

If you do anything with Boiled Linseed oil, please make sure you soak the rags in water and then lay them out to dry, not wadded up in a ball. They can potentially spontaneously combust and burn your stuff down!    • Yes, boiled linseed oil CAN combust a...

If you try to follow this and build your own make sure you use the crossbar on the legs or it will more than likely fold up on you as you move it around and crash to the floor. Ask me how I know!
