DIY Floating Flower Curtain

Hi Everyone!

Today’s DIY is a beautiful falling flower curtain of roses! I used twine, foam roses, and hot glue to craft a waterfall of flowers cascading down the length of the doorway. This is a great, and easy way to make a floating flower backdrop in your home or at an event. It's a fun, floral decor piece that makes a great background for photos too!

These flower garlands are so simple to make and attach to a top thread for ease of hanging up. The result is a fabulous back drop that can be fully customized! Add more threads and different flowers for more wall (or door) coverage and less (as I did) if you need some space between the blooms. I think more space is better if you’re mounting the flowers over a doorway.

You can use any thread to hang the flowers. I chose twine for a bit of a natural, rustic, vine look. But if you’d prefer the illusion of flowers falling in mid air, go for clear fishing line. Also, feel free to experiment with different types of flowers. I’ll link the ones I used below along with a few of my favorites from Amazon.
