In this video, I am taking you through the process of how I made my own dress form personalised to my own measurements from a pattern from a company called Bootstrap Fashion that produces customised patterns for dress forms. If you want to sew your own custom dress form from scratch suitable for both fashion designers and home sewists then this video is a mustwatch!

To make your own DIY dress form you will need a Bootstrap Fashion custom or standardsized dress form sewing pattern. You put in your own measurements and shortly after you will receive a personalised PDF pattern via email.

In this video I will take you through the materials I used (mostly repurposed!) to make my dress form, as well as the process & my experience taking this project from idea to reality.
