A quick demo of my homemade chamber vac sealer, its basically a diaphragm vac pump, the KNF Neuberger N022AN18 and a Vala KS 200 impulse sealer.

The sealer was bought new, then gutted and all the internals arranged inside my box.

I was poking the oring on the silicone seal bar to make sure it wasn't leaking, for those of you who were wondering what I was fiddling with halfway through.


The stainless steel roasting pan for the chamber was a bad idea, its only 0.7mm thick and flexes badly, Im busy with plan B at the moment, 8mm thick steel, 3mm x 50mm side walls and a cap strip of 5mm x 20mm for the seal surface.
