StepbyStep Tutorial on how to build a cattle panel trellis for your garden. We show you how to build this durable, attractive and SIMPLE trellis for you to grow vertically in your backyard garden. This trellis is very customizable. We used scrap cattle panel from our previous projects & purchased a few 2x2x96" pieces of Redwood for the supports. We used a router table to route the wood for the cattle panel to sit in, but one could substitute and use a table saw for a similar outcome. When determining the size of your horizontal support; subtract a 1/2" from the width of the cattle panel in order to account for the routered grooves.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Cattle Panel cut to your desired size*
*We used a scrap piece that was approximately 80" x 17.25"
(3) 2”x2”x96" Redwood post
(4) 2.5” Exterior Wood Screws
