A detailed tour of my DIY air conditioning setup for warm weather camping the back of my truck. Summer heat makes it difficult to truck camp in comfort. Adding A/C to your truck can extend your camping season all the way through even the hottest dog days of summer. This is an extremely cost effective, fun project that will make your truck camping adventures much more comfortable.

I used this setup just two weeks ago while truck camping in Death Valley, California. Daytime high temps were 126 degrees and overnight lows were over 100!
