This is the latest upgrade on my diy cyclone dust collector cart. I added an arm for more functionnality. So now i can plug it directly in my tablesaw and my mitersaw, or i can extend the arm to reach my drill press or my bandsaw. I have it for more than one year now and it's working super great. I made a change on it, i changed the seal around the bucket. Because the piping insulation is weak for the long time, i added some carpet padding under the cyclone instead of around the bucket. Now , let's build it.

The arm need to be light but strong, so I used ABS pipe, which you can find in any hardware store. It would be so simple if we could only assemble the pieces together, but the arm would disassemble each time we change position. If i add glue, nothing would move.

So the simplest solution, make a groove on the male elbow, and insert a screw through the female elbow. This way, the pipe can rotate, and it will remain assembled. If the groove is 180 °, your pipe will rotate 180 °. On the other hand, it is important to mention that the place where you screw the screw will have an impact on where the pipe starts and ends moving.

Overall, the build is strong, and it can use all shop vac accessories. Simply plug the shopvac hose under the arm and your good to go. If you have questions, ask me below ill try to help the best as i can.
