Disbudding or dehorning your goats is a valuable, important task. I disbud mine to keep them from getting caught in fencing. Hornless goats are also better for my petting zoo at the Christmas tree farm. I use a Rhinehart dehorner model x30. Many people and have posted video about just putting a bronze circle around the horn. This does not work at a high percentage. You need to remove the skin and cauterize the wound where the horn was for this to work consistently. The goats will be fine. Most of the noise from the goats is about be scared as much as pain. Once done they calm down immediately.
