Learn how to use the new Direct File tool from the IRS! This pilot program allows people with simple tax needs to electronically file federal tax returns FOR FREE directly through the IRS.

Only 12 states qualify as of now: Arizona, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming.
