At 6600 Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, in the Saxon Square Shopping Plaza, you'll find a local favorite serving up crowdpleasing food for the past 40 years: Charlie's Homemade Ice Cream & Burgers.

Step behind the counter to get a look at how the ice cream is made, handblended to include ingredients such as Oreo cookies, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and chocolate chips.

Today, we sample Moose Tracks ice cream, onion rings, and a Slammin' Slaw Slider, in that order. Dessert first!
