It's league playoff time for high school baseball, with the OIA Division 2 playoffs underway. Kahuku has clinched the top seed after an impressive 91 regular season record. A key player for the Big Red is senior middle infielder Diezel Kamoku, who is batting .410 with 17 stolen bases.

Kamoku, also a standout in football who committed to the University of Utah, helped Kahuku win the state football championship this past November, which was headlined by his goahead punt return for touchdown in the final minutes to win the game. He is now looking to continue his athletic success in baseball.
