The flipping of the calendar to a new year has yet to provide the relief from 2020 exhaustion that most of us are needing. Could it be that we’ve been looking in the wrong places for the path to peace? Jeremiah 6:16 holds a promise and a choice, “This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” This promise of rest for the soul sounds familiar doesn’t it? Where else have we heard this invitation? We will explore this question on Sunday.

A little about Jerry:
Rev. Jerry Kester is the superintendent of the Washington Pacific District Church of the Nazarene and lives with his wife Sharon in Olympia. Prior to his election to district superintendent in 2011, he served as the lead pastor in Twin Falls, Idaho for 17 years.
