I was going to take an hour long ride to check out Allaire, but with Hurricane Henri on his way, I decided to stay local. I saw that JORBA had been doing some work on the Dickerson Mine Trails in Mine Hill, NJ so I wanted to check them out. I just wanted to get more time on the Trek Marlin 7 with all the upgrades (Maxxis Rekon, Maxxis Minion DHR II, PNW Cascade Dropper, PNW Range Handlebars KW Edition, PNW Range Stem Gen 3, PNW Loam Grips). Most of those upgrades I got from WorldWide Cyclery, so check them out at the links below. The bike has been handling really well and is exactly where I need it to really start working on progressing my skills. I took it easy on the trails for the most part because I wasn't sure what to expect. There was one jump I always get to without enough speed, which happened again on this ride, so I went back and made sure to have enough speed. It felt really nice clearing that jump rather than casing it. Hope everyone enjoys the content and is having a great day!
