Dewey is a senior kitty that loves people.  He was rescued by CARE from the shelter and is microchipped. However, despite numerous attempts from the shelter and CARE, the owners never returned calls to bring Dewey home.  

Dewey is the kind of cat that will greet you at the door and will always want to be in the same room as you. Dewey loves pets and when he’s comfortable will come sit on your lap. Other hobbies include playing with stringed toys (sometimes leading to zoomies), looking out of windows, and watching nature videos. Dewey doesn’t mind harnesses and with a little bit of patience could be leash trained.   

Dewey gets more comfortable each day, and he’s truly the perfect cat! He’s a welcome party no matter how long his foster parent leaves the apartment, he loves to be near people overseeing all the action, and he’s a wonderful alarm clock when he knows it’s time to get up. Turns out he’s a major snuggler, too. 

Dislikes include belly rubs, vacuum cleaners, and feeling left out. Dewey is a sweet, low key kitty that is looking for his forever home.
