This video illustrates how I built the table top extensions for my DeWalt Model 745 table saw.
Basically, i used 1/2 inch plywood attached to 2 x 4's or 2 x 6's (they were bolted to the table top framework) and then screwed the plywood to these pieces.
Leveling the top was accomplished by gluing 1/2 plywood pieces to the undersides and bolting diagonal members to these pieces and at the opposite end the bottom round framework of the saw.
I also made room for the fence arms to move freely thru the top and built a miter slot extension to accommodate cutting of longer wood pieces.
