Devil's Crush (TurboGrafx-16) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of NEC's 1990 TurboGrafx16 pinball game, Devil's Crush.

This is easily one of my alltime favorite pinball games right on par, I think, with Psycho Pinball on the PC. It's totally metal in it's look and sound a mean feat for a machine from 1987 it's got fullon sidegames for bonuses, and bizarrely enough, even an ending.

And sufficiently better than the port done for the Genesis, Dragon's Fury.

The ending requires that you max out the point bar. I'm not good enough to make three balls last that long, nor do I have the patience to keep trying. The last time I tried, I got about halfway there after 3 hours or so... it does have a save feature, though: )

This video does show the ending, but I didn't go all the way through the game myself. For the sake of not driving myself insane, and thinking that most people wouldn't be entertained by five hours of this if I somehow succeeded, I played with no cheats until my score reached 95,076,000 points and I had completed Bonus Games 15 (I think I only died once in that time, I was pretty happy with that run!).

The split happens at 39:27. I reset the game and input a password, DEVILSATAN, that starts the game very near the point ceiling for the ending. The rest of the game is played with no cheats (the password does give unlimited lives, but I didn't lose a ball after inputting the password, so it didn't really matter either way.
