Denver Health has been a pillar in the Denver community for more than 160 years, yet many residents are unfamiliar with its full range of services. It is so much more than a hospital, playing a unique and necessary role in our community.

Denver Health is there for first days, worst days and the “Ijustneedtotalk” days: The mombaby team welcomes onethird of all babies born in Denver County; Denver Health paramedics respond to nearly 130,000 emergency calls; and the health system see more than 80,000 patient visits a year for mental health and substance use treatment. Most know the hospital’s reputation as one of the country’s leading Level 1 trauma centers, but many are surprised to learn that health teams also take care of more than 15,000 students inside 19 DPS schoolbased health centers and nearly 300,000 patients system wide; including through 10 community clinics spread out across Denver. Simply put, Denver Health is there wherever and whenever patients need.
