Denmark is a parliamentary Monarchy located in northern Europe. It is the southernmost of the Nordic countries and also the smallest in size. Its Capital is Copenhagen, it has an Area: 43,094 km2 in which a Population of 5.8 million inhabitants lives. The official language is Danish, although many people speak English, and the currency is the Danish Crown.
Denmark is made up of the Jutland peninsula and 443 islands, of which 79 are inhabited. The Danish territory is surrounded by the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, except for Jutland, which joins it to the European continent. Denmark's climate is temperate, with warm summers and cold winters. The average temperature in Copenhagen is 14°C in July and 1°C below zero in January.
Denmark is a popular tourist destination. The country has a rich history and culture, as well as beautiful natural landscapes. Among the most popular tourist places in Denmark are the city of Copenhagen, Kronborg Castle, and the west coast.

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the most popular destination countries for Danish women emigrating are Sweden, the United States and Germany. Other popular destination countries for Danish women emigrating include Norway, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia.
Denmark has close relations with many countries, but its main friends are the Nordic countries, such as Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. These countries share a common history, culture and language, and collaborate closely in a number of areas, such as defence, economy and culture.
Denmark has no traditional enemies, but has had tensions with some countries in the past. For example, Denmark had a territorial dispute with Germany in the 19th century, which led to war. Denmark currently has no significant tensions with any country.
