A&Z #1067 Professional eater Randy Santel versus Front Street Pub & Eatery's delicious 5lb Loaded Pork Nachos Challenge hosted by Front Street Pub & Eatery in Davenport, Iowa which is part of the Quad Cities region!! I finished up my dietetic internship on May 19th, 2022 and @KatinaEatsKilos I knew we were leaving for Dublin, Ireland on June 7, 2022 to begin our international travel plans. Before leaving, we wanted to attempt 12 food challenges around 6 midwestern USA states. For #2 of 12, we headed to Davenport, Iowa which is part of the Quad Cities to attempt and help kick off the new delicious 5lb Loaded Pork Nachos Challenge at Front Street Pub & Eatery. I went first and had 45 minutes to feast on a giant tray of their signature pork nachos weighing over 85oz total. There was 1lb of tortilla chips fried in house, 2lbs of juicy pulled pork, 1lb of their tasty nacho cheese sauce, and all that was smothered with a lime sour cream sauce, pico de gallo, roasted corn, and spicy pickled jalapenos. BIG thanks to everyone with Front Street Pub & Eatery for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Front Street Pub & Eater's Delicious 5lb Pork Nachos Challenge in Davenport, Iowa ($35):

Having been in continuous operation since 1992, Front Street Brewery is the oldest brew pub and second oldest brewery, in the state of Iowa. It was the 300th craft brewery to be established in the United States. The brewery’s humble beginnings started with a 7barrel brewhouse in the basement of the current Pub & Eatery location, located on River Drive in downtown Davenport. The 100+ year old building is nestled along the banks of the Mississippi River, in downtown Davenport, Iowa, in what was known from the late 1800’s into the early 1900’s as the “Bucktown” neighborhood.
One of Front Street Pub & Eatery's top selling items is their loaded pork nachos, so they decided to create a man vs food challenge and supersize it up to weighing over 5lbs total.
There is a 45 minute time limit to feast on an ~85oz tray of loaded pork nachos with 1lb of tortilla chips fried in house, all covered with 2lbs of juicy pulled pork and 1lb of nacho cheese sauce.
All that gets topped with pico de gallo, a lime sour cream sauce, roasted corn, and jalapenos.
You can order an optional beer with your challenge but there are no drinks or side items included.
Winners earn their $35 pork nachos meal free plus a sweet tshirt and spot on the Wall of Fame.
