Today, I have the Deity VMIC D4 Shotgun Microphone in the Audio Hotline Studio! The Deity D4 comes at a very reasonable price and definitely resembles the Rode VideoMic GO II… So that’s why I included the Rode GO II in this video. However, that’s not the only mic I compare the D4 to. I also do a blind comparison that includes all of these mics:

In this review, I go through a lot of the usual tests, but I also include a few additional tests that are a little more specific to this type of microphone. If you are considering buying the Deity D4 I would encourage you to watch as much of this review as possible to see if it is right for you… However, you absolutely can skip around with the timestamps and watch the parts that apply to you!

Check out the testing and audio samples and see if this is right for you! Every person has different expectations of audio gear. If the features are what you need, and you like the sound, then it is right for you!
