Today on 30A Misfits, we take our adventures off of 30A and north, to Defuniak Springs, for our first episode of 30A Misfits: OFFROAD. We start our trip with some mix tape roulette, discover some local art at a coffee shop, experience cuteness overload feeding some baby ducks, try some sushi at a famous hot dog stand, find the best milkshakes in Walton County, and end our day taking in some beautiful views at a local park.

I (Erica) am originally from North Central Florida, and David is from North Central Kansas. We met on 30A Florida and fell in love. The 30A name comes from a road in South Walton County (County Road 30A) that spans roughly 20 miles along the Florida Panhandle coastline. It can be found in the stretch between Destin and Panama City Beach. We got married at Camp Helen State Park in Inlet Beach, and live in Seagrove Beach on 30A, where David has resided for 14 years and we’ve resided together for 5 years. We wanted to start a YouTube Channel that would better reflect the interactions we have with the businesses and people living on 30A year round. Most videos are from real estate agents talking about the thousands of incredible multimillion dollar homes here, and the lifestyle that comes along with #beachlife. We started the 30A Misfits travelvlog to share our “reallife” experiences with locals and tourists on the Emerald Coast, and specifically 30A locals, and the millions of people that vacation on 30A in Florida every year.
