Deadly venomous Forest cobra (Naja melanoleuca) lives in tropical Africa. It is one of the longest venomous snakes in the world. Forest cobra has been recently split into 5 cobra species. This video is about Brown forest cobra and filmed in Uganda. Extremely toxic cobras live in rural areas close to people. These snakes often kill chickens and we filmed one cobra facing these birds. The snake was going to shed its skin. Forest cobras live also on Musambwa island. Fishermen work here, but this snake island is full of birds and cobras! Snakes are habituated to people on the island. The longest true cobra in the world is a very interesting snake species. It can grow up to 3 meters.
