Footage from Daytona Milton Keynes 6 hour race in May 2024, racing in the DMAX class.
This was my first race for my new team, Team Yellow Racing, in advance of us entering the British 24hr this summer and was all our first times driving DMAX karts.
We qualified 14th out of 16 DMAX teams, eventually finishing 9th after fighting forward through the changeable conditions and a slightly down on power kart.
My first stint (this one) was the second of the race for us, starting about an hour into the race with us sitting 13th. The rain started about 40 minutes into my stint and caused a lot of chaos, including a pretty instant red flag for a big crash. After some tricky wet weather driving, I handed over to Adam for the next stint with us in 9th place.
