Day in the life of a vet student | Gracie's spay surgery

Follow
May Yean

Hello friends, today I wanted to share with you what a routine ovariohysterectomy (dog spay) procedure looks like, and some of the reasons why we do this procedure. This was filmed while I was still at vet school, and it shows you some of the clinical stuff (surgery, anaesthesia) that vet students get up to at Cambridge Vet School!

Mega thanks to Rob for allowing me to document Gracie's spay journey (Rob is one of the awesome farm vets in our farm department, who taught us SO MUCH about farm vetting, climate change, the environment and life!)

Who am I?
I am a recent veterinary medicine graduate from Cambridge university. I make videos to help prevet students get into veterinary school, how I am surviving vet school and trying to be the best version of ourselves.
