DamAtoll is a Lockheed invention that was conceived and designed by scientists Les Wirt and Duane Morrow at Lockheed's Acoustical Testing Laboratory in Rye Canyon, Santa Clarita, California. One Lockheed executive was later heard to say, "The damndest thing ever to come out of an acoustic lab."
