81 weeks into our bicycle journey around the world we attempted something incredibly tough & unique... cycling one of the highest roads in the world, up to an altitude where the air pressure is just 49% of that at sea level!

Deep in the Puna of southwestern Bolivia, the Uturuncu Volcano reaches a height of 6,008 m.a.s.l., with a road going almost all the way to the top. The perfect place to test our mental & physical stamina to the limits.

In this short film we take you back a few months, to when we were still traveling with our guitar, and share with you our adventure of cycling the infamous "Ruta de las Lagunas" trail & Uturuncu Volcano.
