in this video i want to show whole process of making a custom equipment case / camera case / film gear case/ gun case.

I Made quite few of them already using all sorts of foam inserts.
Out of Polyurethane foam and EVA foam.
Polyurethane foam is a open cell foam and its used in all pelican cases.

EVA foam is a closed cell foam. comes with variety of colors and densities. Because its closed cells it doesn't absorb water
its also much more durable/wear resistant than Polyurethane foam.

I'm using my 100 watt CO2 laser cutter with 18% power and 5mm per second to cut through 50mm thick foam.
the best results for cutting the foam you can get when you set power as low as its possible and as slow as it is possible.
slower you go with less power cleaner the cut, if you want to go fast, than the cut wont be straight but bent and with burnt sides.
