This year's 70th Crusade for Children telethon is the 2nd highest total ever collected to help children with special needs at $6,232,176.70!! The Saturday night Crusade Variety Show was the return of a full evening of amazing performances for the first time in 3 years due to Covid19 restrictions. Lance Burton has been a friend of the Crusade for years and always donates his time and unbelievable talents to the variety show. He truly loves the Crusade for Children and the mission to help children with special needs. He's a Louisville native and grew up knowing about the Crusade and wanted to help as a child by donating. Plus, if you've ever met him, he's a really great person too!! This year he brought his group of magical friends along to entertain everyone live at the Hall and for viewers at home. There's a reason Lance is considered one of the greatest magicians and illusionists of all time.
