As part of my Train Odyssey 4, when I arrived in New Orleans after taking the AMTRAK "City of New Orleans" train from Chicago, I realized that I still had enough daylight remaining to check an item off my bucket list, namely to cross the world's longest bridge, the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway.

This video shows most of the crossing over and back, in the SUV that I rented near the trains station for about 2.5 hours, required to get from the car rental facility to the Causeway, drive it and back, and drive back to drop off the car before they closed for the day.
