Here is a fantastic Crochet Christmas Stocking pattern to use. Stockings or socks really intimidate me as a crocheter. Yes, I've been crocheting for over 30 years and there is something about the shape that scares me. But then, I crochet the item and my fear or intimidation isn't warranted! I look at the project as a whole and I am scared I am going to mess up the heel or the toe!
