Crunchy stuffed imitation crabmeat fried rice balls are prepared from freshly cooked rice or leftover from lunch or dinner. It can be Chinese fried rice takeout leftovers or brown rice, jasmine rice, etc. This video shows you how to transform leftover mediumgrain sushi rice into tasty fried rice balls with stuffed imitation crabmeat. Sushi rice seems to work better as it is more sticky.

How To Make Crispy Stuffed Fried Leftover Rice Ball 酥脆饭团

Ingredients:
Steam Rice 6oz
Eggs 2
Imitation Crab Meat 2 pcs
Panko bread crumbs 1 or 2 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Roasted Sesame & Seaweed(Aji Nori Furikake) 1 tbsp
Sweet Sake Bonito (Katsuo Mirin Furikake) 1 tbsp
Umami Mushroom Powder 1 tbsp
Sesame Oil 2 tbsp

材料
白饭 6oz
鸡蛋 2颗
仿蟹肉 2条
面包糠 2杯
盐 1小匙
Aji Nori Furikake 海苔香味 1汤匙
Katsuo Mirin Furikake 鱼干味淋香料 1汤匙
香菇粉 1汤匙
麻油 2汤匙

Instructions:
1. Cook some rice or use leftover rice. (sushi or jasmine rice is all good)
2. ImitationcCrab meat cut in cubes which will be used as stuffing.
3. Beat 2 eggs.
4. Add seasonings(sesame oil, Mishima Sweet Sake Bonito(Katsuo Mirin Furikake), Aji Nori Furikake) into steam rice & mix well.
5. Grab a small amount of rice on hand, wrap a piece of Imitation crab meat into it, knead into a ball shape.
6. Place the rice ball into egg liquid, dip well.
7. Place the rice ball with egg wash into a bowl of panko bread crumbs, coat it well.
8. Repeat the steps to make more dipped rice balls.
9. Preheat a pot of cooking oil to about 350F.
10. Gently place rice ball into hot oil & deepfry until turns golden brown.

2. 仿蟹肉切成小方块。
3. 打鸡蛋拌匀。
4. 将所有调味料放入米饭中拌匀。
5. 拿少量米饭在手上将一块仿蟹肉包裹在其中揉成球形饭团。
6. 将饭团放入蛋液中沾匀。
7. 再将饭团放入一碗面包糠中沾匀。
8. 重复上述步骤制作更多沾了蛋液和面包糠的饭团。
9. 预热一锅食用油。
10. 放入饭团炸至金黄色。
