CRISPY HIHATS IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS | How to Mix Drums Part Three

In this video, I go over 3 simple steps to help you make crispy hihats with presence that glide over the beat without sounding overpowering and clunky. I'll be using FL Studio (FL Studio 20, specifically), but this can be done using any DAW, with any EQ plugin, as long as it's parametric. I'll be using Parametric EQ 2, which is a stock plugin in FL Studio.

This production advice is my own, after more than a decade of experience. I know how difficult it can be to get crispy hihats, so breaking it down to 3 simple steps was my best solution.
