If you ever, and I mean, ever get the chance to go crew and pace someone at the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run you should take it. I got the opportunity, took it and had the most incredible time crewing and pacing my friend Thomas with his partner Gennah.

Also lots of really good lessons about the value of a good race plan but also being flexible, how much you will need to take up to Robinson Flat, and the awesomeness of a midnight boatride across the American River.
