Pork Chops with Creamy Mushroom Sauce Recipe

4 Bone in Pork Chops
1 Tbsp Butter or Ghee
8 oz. Cremini Mushrooms, sliced
12 tsp Thyme
1 tsp Garlic, minced
1 cup Beef Broth
3/4 cup Heavy Cream

Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Sear on med/high heat in a pan with butter or ghee for 23 minutes per side or until golden. Remove from the pan and add the mushrooms. Sauté the mushrooms until they release their liquid, continuing to cook until the juices evaporate. Add thyme and garlic then cook for 12 minutes stirring to insure that the garlic does not burn. Add the broth and allow to reduce by half. Stir in the cream and return the pork chops and their juices to the pan. Simmer on low/medium heat for about 8 minutes or until the pork chops are cooked through. Serve over Spaetzle, pasta or rice & Enjoy!
