Two years ago the rear hub (Shimano FHM8110B) of my Merida OneTwenty started creaking. I posted a video with the creaking and some general guides on solving it. In a while the creaking came back. I posted a new video on hub overhaul and greasing. At around 3500 kms (~2200 miles) along with regreasing I had to replace a worn spacer. And now, after 5000 kms (~3000 miles) the hub is DEAD and requires complete replacement. I have to agree Shimano has failed with this hub type.
