On the 25th Of June 2023, me and six other guys tracked Ceres Rail Company's Class 19D 3322 'Clare' (formerly 'Dominique') and Class 24 3655 'Jenny' from Cape Town to Wolseley in a very special double header. The trip was a special one; Ceres Rail hadn't done a double header in a while. We started at Harbour Bridge, and caught it in multiple locations, before arriving at the railway triangle in Wolseley. The passengers didn't even get time to disembark. Jenny was uncoupled from the train and headed to a railway yard in Worcester. We tracked it there, while Clare was turned around took the passengers back to Harbour Bridge. This video shows the footage of the double header heading from Harbour Bridge to the triangle in Wolseley.

The wind was absolutely terrible in some locations, which is why some of the footage, especially from the triangle, has a very windysounding audio. Yet trainspotters from all over the country came to watch this very rare event.

Jenny was being transported to Worcester for a private rail tour organised by a group of German tourists, who had requested that the engine look dirty and grimy in order to create an industrial atmosphere.

The trip had originally been planned for the 16th of June, and Ceres Rail had marketed the trip as a 'Youth Day special.' However, damage to the line from a recent storm meant that the trip had to be postponed.
