I've known Crazy Al for almost 20 years now. My band, The Hula Girls, has performed at galley shows featuring him, we've shared the stage with him, he's announced our band before on big stages, and recently he carved a giant tiki in my font yard. He is shockingly talented and I wanted him to come on the show to remind everyone that in a tiki world of increasing competition, there is still only one Crazy Al.

The Acapulco Gold is a drink that was created by Trader Vic. Al calls it a "Painkiller, south of the border."

To make the the drink in the video:

2 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz grapefruit juice
1 oz tequila
1 oz Jamaican rum
1 oz coconut cream


Shake well with pebble ice. Pour the contents into a tall chimney glass or Crazy Al tiki mug.
